Noteworthy Day

Today is March 14.

Today is International Pi Day (3.14, get it?), which is traditionally observed by baking a pie.

Albert Einstein was born on this day in 1879.

On this day in 1930, an eleven year old English school girl, Venetia Burney, recommended the name "Pluto" for the newly found planet.
